ABOUT ME

 

This is me, the person behind the camera: Nadine, 28 years old, Creative Director and Social Media Manager based in Berlin /Bali.

 

As long as I can remember, I've been passionate about photography - as a child, I never left the side of wedding photographers at events, I shot tons of self-portraits with my mom's SLR camera, diligently worked my way through image editing at pic monkey, and when I was about 18 years old, I started to regularly stand in front of the camera as a hobby. Through modeling I was not only able to get to know numerous photographers and other models, but also to learn a lot about posing, lighting, the course of a shoot, locations, etc. 

 

I only switched to the other side of the lens after my grandpa, one of the most important people to me, left me some money after he passed away. It was clear to me that I didn't want to just park the money in my bank account, but rather use it to fulfill a small wish for myself, and so I bought my first own camera at the age of 22.

 

People photography offers me the opportunity to capture people and emotions as I personally perceive them, which allows me to implement my creativity and ideas of aesthetics pictorially.
